The Junior Board of the Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital delivered this year’s 62nd Bal du Bois with a magnificent setting for one of Richmond’s favorite fundraisers and its 50 sponsors. A brilliant theme, the Silk Road, the Board, guided by designers Scott Boyer and de Veaux Riddick, spread Persian designs throughout the Country Club of Virginia’s Westhampton clubhouse. Take a voyage on the Silk Road and enjoy the sights of the Moroccan roses, flowering citrus, silk-lined tents, camels, and exotic birds.
